- If payment is not received by the 5th of the month, a $50 late fee will be assessed. Students may be dismissed from school for non-payment.
- If the 5th of the month falls on a holiday or weekend, tuition will be accepted the following school day without a late fee.
- Recurring monthly credit card payments are charged on the 25th of the month for the upcoming month's tuition.
- All payments made by credit card will include a 3% convenience fee.
- A $75 fee will be charged for all returned checks due to insufficient funds or payment errors.
- A 5% discount is offered on annual tuition if paid in full by the first day of school.
- Annual (paid-in-full) tuition: Annual tuition paid in full is non-refundable and non-transferable. Families who choose the annual payment option and withdraw before the end of the school year, for any reason, will not receive a refund of any portion of tuition.
- To qualify as a returning student for Re-Enrollment Fee discounts, the student must have attended Crenshaw Academy the previous academic year.
- Late enrollees may be subject to enrollment fees for the next school year.
Family Billing & Payment Policy
Crenshaw Academy maintains one financial account per family, regardless of the number of students enrolled. Invoices may list tuition, fees, lunches, or other charges separately for each student; however, these line items are provided for informational purposes only. All charges are combined into a single family account balance.
Payments are applied to the family account as a whole and are not allocated to individual students. As a result:
- Individual student balances are not maintained or provided.
- Partial payments reduce the family's overall outstanding balance and are not applied to a specific student.
- Account statements reflect the total amount due for the family.
- Payment plans, late fees, financial holds, and account standing are based on the family's total outstanding balance, not on individual students.
- Financial holds, record releases, and payment obligations apply to the family account, not individual students.
Withdrawal & Records Release
If a student withdraws from Crenshaw Academy, we request at least 30 days' advance written notice.
Student records, transcripts, report cards, diplomas, and any other official school records will not be released until the family's financial account is paid in full or is current according to an approved payment arrangement. This includes, but is not limited to, tuition, enrollment fees, lunch charges, device fees, late fees, and any other outstanding financial obligations owed to Crenshaw Academy.
All fees and policies are subject to change at the discretion of the administration. Please refer to the Parent & Student Handbook for the complete Tuition & Withdrawal Policy.
