Crenshaw 2018 Academy Year

Monday, 10 December 2018 00:00

2018 is wrapping up and it’s hard to believe how quickly this year went by! The first half of this school year has been amazing and we’d like to share some of the awesome memories we’ve made so far.

Pumpkin Fun in Ethnobotany class!

In Ms Ana’s Ethnobotany class our middle school students learned pumpkins are fruit. They got to spend the rest of the class painting and decorating a pumpkin to their personal liking. They sure had lots of fun!

Halloween 2018-

Each year we allow our students in all grades to dress up and boy was there some adorable and creative costumes!

Spirit Week-

Spirit week is a chance for all of our students to show off their Crenshaw pride! Each day was a different theme.

Themes included: Movie Character Monday, Tacky Tourist Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and TCS Stallion Friday.

Our admin got to select 2-3 students each day to win “Best Outfit/Costume.”

Elementary Science Center Field trip-

Our elementary students explored the Orlando Science Center with their wonderful teacher, Ms. Gaby! It was a great experience for each of them outside of the normal classroom setting.

UPCOMING EVENTS- DECEMBER-

We have some exciting events coming up this month that you won’t want to miss! Mark those calendars.
